Job Hunting? The Library Has a Dedicated Bookshelf Just for You!

The library now has a dedicated bookshelf in the main lobby that’s devoted to job hunters!  Books on subjects such as resume writing, interviewing, job hunting online, and even starting your own business are featured.  In addition, we have a newly-updated weblist, Job Search Web Sites, that’s available for you to take and use!

Stop by, and choose material to help you with your job search.  Don’t forget; we also have many more books on the regular shelves for you to browse and check out too!

Monthly Book Group: “The Omnivore’s Dilemma”

omnivoreThis coming Thursday, June 18, the Library’s Monthly Book Group will be discussing Michael Pollan’s The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals. In his examination of how Americans eat, the author uses four different meals to discuss industrial farming, organic food and foraging for one’s food. Please join us Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in the Library Program Room.
